When Dyemond Lewis walked into Treble HQ, one of the first things I noticed about him was the calm. A self professed "thinker," Lewis's stoic demeanor and cool-headedness set him apart in a rap landscape filled with dyed braids, off-kilter melodies, and Young Thug replicas.
In short, there's nothing gimmicky about Dyemond Lewis. He's 22. He's from Brooklyn. He's got bars. And he's hungry as hell to make it. "I dont give a fuck who you are," the newly solo artist says with a smile. "You better get the fuck out of the way, cause I gotta eat.”
Indeed, after splitting with Pro Era this year, now is the time for Dyemond to pave his own lane. And, like all artists who eventually blow, he's been putting in the work to make it happen.

Gems, his first solo project, drops soon (and includes a standout track featuring our friend, Jordan Bratton). Peep our interview with him and stay tuned for Gems.
